In this edition of “STR Spotlight,” we’re highlighting an absolutely gorgeous Bailey, CO property. The Hidden Homestead is quickly positioning itself as one of the area’s top-performing properties, after just launching this October.
When we were first contacted by these clients, all of us at Chroma Home were salivating over this property. Boasting over 3000 sq. ft., the property had limitless potential. Besides the house itself, it included a 6+ acre lot that presented an undeniable opportunity for some outstanding outdoor amenities. The clients came well-prepared, and had a lot of great ideas for the property. Ultimately, they put their personal preferences aside and trusted our vision for how to fully optimize this property for performance. Aligned on a design direction, we got right to work. We partnered with Orderly Colorado and several other trusted teams to execute the beautiful vision that our lead designers created.
After eight weeks, we had reached the finish line, and the property had absolutely achieved perfection. No stone was left unturned, and this property had more amenities than any property we’ve ever done before! Inside, we had a theater room with a 100” projector screen, three beautiful bedrooms, and one camp-themed bunkroom downstairs for the kids. We overhauled the kitchen with newly painted cabinets and backsplash and added a massive dining table suitable for everyone. The three-car garage had been fully-converted into a ½ gym, ½ game room. This included a full weight rack, treadmill, free weights, poker table, pool table, and cocktail lounge area.
With everything the interior had to brag about, the outside couldn’t possibly rival it, right? Wrong! Outside, we partnered with Volcano Construction to absolutely maximize the space. Furtunately, the property had an existing hot tub! To optimize the deck space, we added Polywood outdoor dining furniture and a new barbecue grill. In the yard we added a dedicated firepit area with seating for ten, a barrel sauna, and outdoor games. As for the star of the show… we installed a 16’x16’ observation deck with a large geodesic dome perched on top (Thanks, Hype Dome!
